An admired leader in the HVAC industry, Dan Foley brings 25 years of experience to his role as owner and president at Foley Mechanical, which he founded in 2002. In 2009, Foley was featured by a major trade publication as one of the “25 most influential contractors of the last quarter century.”
After earning a business degree from Virginia Tech in 1988, Foley spent 15 years serving and leading at Arlington Heating and A/C before starting his own company. Foley’s years of field experience installing and servicing radiant and hydronic systems complement his design and leadership capabilities.
He is certified by the Radiant Panel Association (RPA) as a designer and installer, and his company’s standard-setting projects have been honored and featured editorially in Plumbing & Hydronic Contractor News, Contracting Business, Plumbing & Mechanical, Contractor, and Journal of Light Construction.
Foley serves on the board of his local Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) chapter and serves as chair of its national Radiant & Hydronics Council. He also serves on the board of Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC). He is past president of the RPA and holds master HVAC and master plumbing/gas fitting licenses in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland.
